Close to 1,200,000 housing units, close to 500 high schools, more than 1,000 junior high schools, more than 2,000 canteens and half board establishments, nearly 500,000 university places and 50,000 vocational training places, 40 hospitals, 10 dams and more than 10,000 km of new or renovated roads as well as connecting over 600,000 rural households to an electricity supply and 1,200,000 to a natural gas supply.

A road network of 100,000 km for more than 2 million vehicles, a figure that is constantly increasing. A 4,000 km railway network currently being extended and modernised. Aircraft serving 25 towns within the country and 32 capitals and towns in 24 countries. 10 commercial ports and 35 fishing ports. A telecommunications infrastructure that integrates the latest technological advances and assures extensive coverage of the country.
