A dynamic engineer and light industry perfectionist (expert packaging engineering), Salim’s career path has lead him to develop an avant-garde approach to modern industry.
Passionate about the world of industry, a third-generation member of an industrial family, he was closely involved in his family’s business from an early age, participating in large-scale projects in Algeria and the Middle East.
Educated in the industrial cradle of Reims, he went on to study industrial and technical architecture in Lausanne (Switzerland).
Salim has headed up projects for a variety of multinational companies including: ALCAN Packaging, AMCOR Packaging, KLOCKNER PENTAPLAST, B&K Packaging and W&H; he has also worked as a consultant for the GOIC (Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting) in Qatar on the production of a market study on packaging in GCC countries.
Following a study on the development potential of packaging markets in the Middle East, Salim joined Silvertrade to head up their Industrial Department.
Today, he is a vital force in the company’s dynamic approach to developing turnkey projects and providing valuable advice on investment in industrial technology.
He can offer an accurate, strategic view on investments in the agro-foods, packaging, chemicals, petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and construction materials fields, as well as the glass industry and many other fast-growing sectors.
